MGB Roadster, 1974, chrome bumpers, overdrive, wire wheels, one owner last 29 years, comprehensive restoration carried out by Brown & Cook MG Specialists in 1989 which included new wings, sills, castle rails, door skins etc etc, structurally excellent example with coachwork still in good condition and testament to the quality of the rebuild, nice Black leather interior trim, heavy history file containing old related documentation, old mot’s and of course invoices & photographs of the restoration. It is worth mentioning that following the Chancellor’s 2013 Budget, I can confirm that this vehicle will qualify for tax exemption status from next year. The Heritage certificate from British Motor Heritage confirms the vehicle was built in October 1973. Below is the relevant section from page 84 of the report.

2.148 VED: classic vehicle exemption – The Government will extend the cut off date from which classic vehicles are exempt from VED by one year. From 1 April 2014 a vehicle manufactured before 1 January 1974 will be exempt from paying VED. (Finance Bill 2014)
