MGB Roadster 1967 Heritage Shell Rebuild (XAR300E)
MGB Roadster 1967, wire wheels, overdrive, tax exempt, fully rebuilt on a new Heritage Shell by British Classic Investments in 1997 at a cost of £16,350. At the time these cars were built ‘as new’ by the company and this particular model was supplied with a high specification that included high back reclining seats, mohair hood and carpeted boot. The British Racing Green coachwork although not perfect is still in nice condition. A history file contains original documentation from the restoration company, old mot’s and a plethora of invoices both past & present. It now has the benefit of power steering, a boot rack that also will accommodate the spare wheel, freeing up valuable boot space for those trips away. The boot lid has been fitted with hydraulic struts which make light work when opening even when fitted with the spare, the gearbox is a 4 synchromesh with overdrive and presents a unique opportunity to own one of the early 60’s cars but have some subtle modifications that make ‘lighter work’ of modern motoring conditions, just arrived,
