Austin Mini Cooper 1968 Mk 2, an older restored genuine Cooper badged as a ‘Cooper S’.

A comprehensive mid 90’s restoration over an 18 month period by ex-hill climb champion James Lee to the same spec as his championship car. Restoration included new floors front to rear, new inner and outer sills, new doors, new rear seat pan, new front inner wings etc etc

Mechanical works included engine/gearbox with all moving parts reconditioned or replaced, the shell was painted in British Racing Green and although not perfect remains in very good condition despite the passage of time and is testament to the quality of the restoration, only 11,000 miles since completion. Modifications and upgrades include ‘S’ cylinder head, ‘S’ brakes, fly off handbrake, rev counter, more recent fitting of additional o/s fuel tank, H2 carburettors, sports exhaust, Mamba seats, quality seatbelt harness and front spotlights. Heavy history file with photographic evidence of restoration, old mot’s and a plethora of invoices both original and current.
