MGB Roadster V8 (JTJ162P)

MGB Roadster V8, rubber bumpers, 1976, older bare metal photographic restoration and professional conversion to V8. The car is quite exceptional and was fastidiously restored in the 80’s. There has been a catalogue of expensive beautifully engineered conversions and refurbishments. It was fully zinc treated and waxoyled at the time of the rebuild and has received re treatment on an annual basis to mid 2000. The body restoration included new doors, wings, inner wings, complete sills, floors etc etc. The Harvest Gold coachwork still maintains a nice fresh appearance although not perfect has survived exceedingly well and is testament to the quality of the rebuild. The Rover LT77  rebuilt 5 speed manual gearbox, bespoke new propshaft and high ratio MGB GT V8 rear axle are comfortably employed by the 205 BHP producing Rover SDI 3.5 V8 rebuilt engine with Piper ‘Hurricane’ camshaft. Holley 4 barrel carburetter and Offenhauser 360 degree inlet manifold. Very heavy history file with all invoices and documentation from the V8 Conversion Company etc etc. Just arrived
